STAFF at a town centre coffee shop will be shivering their timbers and going under the sea for a fun-packed charity day.
The team at Costa Coffee in the Kingfisher Centre are set to dress as pirates and mermaids tomorrow (Saturday) in aid of the chain’s foundation which aims to relieve poverty and improve the education and health of coffee-growing communities around the world.
Store champion Ashleigh Sweet said Costa aimed to have given 15,000 children access to education by the end of 2013.
Events will include a tombola, colouring and guessing the teddy bear’s name, with prizes to be won for those attend.
