A MAN was put in a headlock and robbed while walking in Wythall.
The 19-year-old victim was walking along Gorsey Lane towards the junction of Alcester Road, about 11pm on Monday (August 19) when a black hatchback car slowly drove past him.
The car, which had a partial registration number of ERH, then parked just in front of him and two men got out.
One of the men grabbed the victim round his neck, put him in a headlock and forced his fingers into his eye, before demanding money and his phone.
The second man then searched the victim, taking his wallet containing £20, a driving licence, bank card, keys and Samsung Galaxy S3 mini mobile phone worth £400.
The first man then pulled the victim to the floor before they both ran back to the waiting car and drove off.
Both offenders were in their late teens to early 20s. The first man was white, about 5ft 10in, stocky build, and was wearing a black baseball cap and a black waterproof style jacket.
The second man was mixed race, approximately 6ft 2in, slim to medium build and was wearing a black baseball cap with a silver circle on the flipside and wearing a black jacket.
The victim sustained a scratch to his neck but did not need medical treatment.
