Starting the ball rolling for hospice

RUGBY players will be try-ing to convert fun into cash in aid of the Primrose Hospice.

Redditch Rugby Club is hosting a fun and friendly mixed touch rugby event on Sunday (June 23) at 2pm at its ground off Bromsgrove Road. It will feature five-a-side games lasting seven minutes each.

Teams are being sought to take part, but those who cannot get one together can go along and join in with other fun games for which there will also be prizes awarded.

Touch rugby rules apply and each team can only have two men on the pitch at one time.

Entry is £10 per team and prizes are awarded for best team name.
