A HOLLYWOOD chip shop will be cooking up some egg-citing treats this Easter.

The Hollywood Fish Bar will be serving up their famous deep fried Cadbury creme eggs to customers for £1 each from now through to the end of Easter.

It is one of many quirky delights owner Chris Christoforou has cooked up over the years, with everything from deep fat fried Christmas dinners to battered banana and chocolate fritters which were hit for Valentine’s day.

Mr Christoforou said: “Last year the creme eggs sold really well and even Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis came down to see what all the fuss was about, so we decided to do them again.

“I’m not just saying it, but they are really good. I think I got addicted to eating them last time. I was eating one or two a day.”

He added he enjoyed creating something different for customers and hoped people would come and try the tasty treats for themselves.
