DRUG and alcohol misuse have been highlighted as part of a project aiming to educate parents.
Sure Start Redditch and Christ Church Community Project have teamed up to offer advice and information to those with children aged from birth to 19.
The course, led by Phil Williams from the charity at the Oak Trees Children's Centre, highlights the signs of misuse in young people, how to educate children and how to get professional help.
Elaine Grant, community engagement team leader, said: "This course has been received so well by the parents attending which is really encouraging, it is important that parents have an awareness of drug and alcohol misuse and know where to get support if they have concerns."
She added they had received funding from Worcestershire County Council and Redditch councillors.
