Pupils and parents also made cakes to sell after school, raising a total of £380.79 overall. REDDITCH was awash with red on Friday as residents supported Comic Relief's fund-raising efforts.
Schools, businesses and individuals from the borough and the surrounding areas wore their Red Noses and dressed up to help contribute towards the £75 million raised across the country for disadvantaged children in the UK and Africa.
Anyone with a Red Nose can recycle it from March 19 to 31 at Sainsbury's in Redditch. All noses collected in the bucket at the front of the store will be recycled to be used as carpet underlay.

Buy photos» A total of £1,095 was raised by Kingsley College Students, who held a non-uniform day and sold Red Noses. Students and staff also took part in a Badminton Bonanza, a lunchtime concert from Running with Scissors, a cake sale and a raffle. Half of the money raised will go to Comic Relief and the other half will be donated to St Richard's Hospice in Worcester. (s)
