Phones stolen in golf course theft

A TEENAGER was pushed to the floor during a phone theft at a Redditch golf course.

The 19-year-old was sitting on a bench by the lake at Abbey Park Golf Course, Dagnell End Road, at 3pm on Wednesday, March 20.

He was approached from behind and struck to the head before being pushed to the floor, leaving him shaken but not injured. The offender, who spoke with what appeared to be a foreign accent, was wearing dark clothing and had a balaclava covering face, stole a Nokia worth £130 and an LG worth £25.
