ECO CONSCIOUS pupils cleaned up their school and the surrounding community as part of a litter pick.

Ten children and two adults from Beoley First School spent the morning cleaning up their playgrounds as well as nearby car parks on Monday (March 18).

Teaching assistant Denise Johnson said: “The morning was part of Keeping Britain Tidy and saw the children working with everybody to keep the area tidy and clean.”

She added they would be doing further litter picks in the future.
