Pair arrested in Anslow case

A FURTHER two men have been charged in connection with the escape of HMP Hewell prisoner John Anslow.

The pair, aged 25 and 29, were remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court later today (Wednesday).

Anslow, originally from Tipton, has yet to be found by police after he escaped from a prison escort van in January last year while being taken from the Tardebigge prison to Stafford Crown Court. He had been remanded in custody charged in connection with a murder.

A total of nine men have been charged so far in connection with his escape.
