A STUDLEY star is set to take to the stage in the lead role in a production of Annie.

Brease Woolley will be performing with Peterbrook Players at Solihull Arts Complex from March 19 to 23 after being chosen as one of two Annies from 49 auditionees.

The 11-year-old Henley In Arden School pupil has previously performed in shows including Oliver, The King And I and Annie Get Your Gun since taking to the stage at the age of eight.

Mum Liz said: “Brease is always singing and loves musical theatre and performing, her ambition is to make it to the West End one day.”
