A SECTION of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre has been closed following concerns for a man's welfare.

Police were called to the upper level of the centre at 5pm today (Tuesday) and cordoned off Evesham Walk from Worcester Square to Evesham Square.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "The immediate area is still closed while officers deal with the ongoing incident. No further comment is available at this time."
