Burglars target unlocked home

A LAPTOP, purse and wallet were among items stolen by burglars in Lodge Park.

Thieves let themselves in through the unlocked door of a house off Southcrest Road between 10am on Wednesday, February 20, and 2pm the following day.

They sole a purse and wallet containing several debit, credit and store cards, a driving licence and some cash as well as an Acer laptop worth £350.

Police are reminding residents to ensure their home is secure at all times, particularly when going out or away for any length of time.
