Burglars target unlocked home

A LAPTOP, purse and wallet were among items stolen by burglars in Lodge Park.

Thieves let themselves in through the unlocked door of a house off Southcrest Road between 10am on Wednesday, February 20, and 2pm the following day.

They sole a purse and wallet containing several debit, credit and store cards, a driving licence and some cash as well as an Acer laptop worth £350.

Police are reminding residents to ensure their home is secure at all times, particularly when going out or away for any length of time.

Anyone with any information should call DC Rhian O'Reilly on 101, quoting incident number 22-N-220213, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
