A SINGING duo will be taking on a dual challenge by training for the London Marathon and staging a theatre show.

For the second year, Redditch singers Brett Elesmore and Sophie Grogan will be completing the 26.2 mile run in aid of the Micro and Anopthalmic Children's Society, which supports children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes.

In a bid to raise more funds, they will be producing and performing I Dreamed A Dream at the Palace Theatre on Sunday (February 24), featuring songs from West End and Broadway shows.

Sophie said: "Brett and I loved our London Marathon experience in 2012, we raised over £4,500 together and after the success of I Dreamed A Dream last year, it seemed like the right thing to do to rally the cast back together and produce an event better show."
