Two taken to hospital after Astwood Bank crash

A CRASH in Astwood Bank saw two people taken to the Alexandra Hospital by ambulance.

Emergency services were called out to the junction of Edgioake Lane and the Salt Way shortly before 2.30pm on Tuesday (February 19) following the incident involving two cars.

A passenger with chest pain was treated at the scene and two others with neck pain were immobilised on spinal boards and taken to hospital. West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and two rapid response vehicles and two fire crews from Redditch also attended to make the vehicles safe.
