Four charged with shoplifting from Matalan

FOUR people have been charged with stealing nearly £600 worth of clothes from Matalan.

Police were called to the store on Jinnah Road yesterday (Thursday) around 12.45pm following reports of shoplifting.

A man aged 20, two women aged 18 and 23, and a 15-year-old girl were all arrested and charged with stealing clothes worth a total of £594.

They were all released on bail to appear at Redditch Magistrates' Court on February 26.
