METAL worth £7,000 was stolen from a Woodrow company.
Thieves broke in to the Pipers Road business between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Sunday (February 3) and stole large quantities of high-value metals including nickel and chrome.
PC James Campbell said: "We are eager to hear from anyone who remembers seeing suspicious activity in this area, especially any vehicles parked in unusual circumstances.
"Any local businesses who buy metal are warned to be on the lookout for anyone selling nickel or chrome. If you are offered some for sale and are in any doubt about its origin then please call us straight away."
Anyone with any information should call PC Campbell on 101, quoting incident number 55-S-040213, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
