PETER SIMPSON XI are celebrating after reaching a cup final in their debut season in the BRT Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination.
They will play in the final of the Hunt Crane Cup after an epic 5-4 victory over Shakespeare in the semi-final.
In Division Three Luke Forester's hat-trick and a Sean Manison strike helped Bell Studley extend their lead at the top of the table with a 4-0 win over visitors Dagnell End Rovers.
Honours were even as Washford Lions Reserves were held 1-1 at home by Winyates Wanderers. Sam Ward opened the scoring for the hosts on the stroke of half time when his persistence was rewarded before Paul Nolan equalised after 55 minutes when he clinically fired home a long range free kick.
South Redditch are now within touching distance of the top of Division One after their 4-1 home win over JMC United in which Leggatt, Voice and Farmer (2) scored for South Redditch and Edwards netted for JMC.
