FIVE people have been arrested after officers seized suspected amphetamines and cannabis.

Officers raided Flanders Close in Church Hill yesterday (Thursday) evening where they arrested four men and one woman for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

All five are currently at Redditch police station assisting with inquiries.

PC Richard Field said: "Drugs cause tremendous harm to the local community in terms of increased crime and anti social behaviour, as well as blighting the lives of addicts' families and close friends.

"The police are unrelenting in our efforts to combat drugs crime and we welcome all information provided by the public."

Anyone with any information should call police on the non emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
