A REDDITCH school has been named as the most improved in the country.
Trinity High School topped the national league table after the number of pupils achieving five GCSEs at A* to C grade, including English and Maths, soared from 32 per cent in 2009 to 80 per cent last year.
Headteacher Marian Barton said: “As a school we are extremely delighted and proud to be acknowledged as the most improved school in the country.
“This improvement has been down to a huge team effort where every single member of staff has worked extremely hard to ensure every student in the school gets the best possible educational experience.
"Our students have worked hard to meet the high expectations their teachers have set and parents and carers have played an important role in supporting their children on a day to day basis.”
