Cash stolen in knife robbery

A MAN threatened shop workers with a knife before making off with a small quantity of cash.

The incident happened shortly after 8.30pm on Friday night (January 25) at the Winyates One Stop Convenience Store in the district centre.

Police said the man demanded a member of staff open the till. He was white, between 20 and 35, skinny and wearing a grey top with a blue hood, light grey bottoms and light brown ankle boots.
