SPECULATION is growing the company buying out HMV's debts will also take on the Jessops brand.
Hilco UK confirmed on Tuesday (January 24) it had bought the music company's debts after it fell into administration earlier this month. But various internet sources are now reporting rumours the business is also in talks regarding the photographic giant.
Jessops stores, including the one in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, closed just two days after it fell into administration but now PwC are rumoured to be in talks regarding the future of the brand.
Rob Hunt, Jessops joint administrator and PwC partner, said: "We have a number of people interested in the brand but we will not disclose or confirm individual parties as this is confidential information."
A spokeswoman for Hilco declined to comment.
