CREATIVE pupils at Ridgeway Middle School made the most of the winter weather by creating their very own frozen friend.

The Evesham Road school stayed open on Monday (January 21) despite snowy conditions but the students had a chance to enjoy themselves in the snow at lunchtime by spending their break making snowmen.

Headteacher Mike Bennett said: "During the snow at Ridgeway pupils had lessons as normal, however at lunchtime pupils had the cracking opportunity of a building a snowman."
