A TOWIE treat was in store for Slimming World consultants as they met one of the stars of the hit ITV show.

The Redditch and Alcester team had the chance to meet Mark Wright, who found fame in The Only Way Is Essex, at the organisation's annual awards ceremony in Birmingham.

Presenting the prizes, he said he had been blown away by the achievements of those he met.

"In fact, throughout the day I met so many fantastic people, not only the slimmers collecting awards but also amazing people who run the Slimming World groups and help them achieve so much.

"I really feel the people of Redditch and Alcester are very lucky to have such a great support network on their doorstep."

Consultant Jodie Taylor added meeting Mark had been the perfect ending to a great year for Slimming World.
