A VINTAGE cabaret act featuring a singer from Hollywood near Wythall is set to grace the final of a national competition.
Laura Fleming, who performs as Candy Kisses, is one of five singers and multiple dancers who form The Pin Ups - a group which sings, dances and performs aerial tricks to original 1940s songs as well as rearranging more modern hits.
They impressed judges in the regional round of the Open Mic UK competition and will now perform in the grand final at the O2 in London next Saturday (January 19).
The 21-year-old, who was one of the original members put together through auditions two years ago, said: "We are taking a bit of a risk this round by singing some more modern songs, arranged in an Andrew Sisters way.
"We have been practising very hard to get the harmonies tight and are all very excited and nervous."
