Hi: 16° Lo:3° 7 day

A REDDITCH band will be taking on the second city as they top the bill at a music gig.
Endorphins, who were formed in Camden in 2011, have been chosen to headline an event at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on Thursday (January 10).
Guitarist and vocalist Jay Dyer, who plays alongside bass guitarist Jacob Madden and drummer Ben Brannelly in the band, said: "Fans can look forward to five acts spreading across the genres of rock music, leading up to our headline performance at the end.
"We have put time in to refining our performances and making them much more energetic so that fans are thoroughly entertained throughout the show.
"We play deeply grunge-inspired alternative rock music with influences including Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. However, we give this sound a fresh twist to help give the music a new tangent to run down by adding punk foundations to a far greater extent than past bands."
He added Endorphins had been getting fantastic responses from crowds at recent gigs and were looking forward to showing off their passion for music in a great venue.
Tickets costing £5 for the 6.30pm gig are available from the venue's website or from the band on Facebook. Visit www.facebook.com/officialendorphins for more information.
