A MAN found dead in a Redditch wood has been named as a missing father of one.
Michael Lubak was last seen on November 13 after leaving his home in High Trees Close to go to work.
The body of the 28-year-old was found at 8.10am on Thursday (January 3) by a couple out walking near Pitcheroak Golf Course off Plymouth Road.
At the time of his disappearance, police said he had never been reported missing before. They re-issued an appeal in December, asking those from the Polish community to come forward if they had any information.
A section of the woods was cordoned off while his body was removed and a forensic examination carried out.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Formal identification was confirmed later that day and Mr Lubak's next of kin have been informed. The Worcestershire Coroner Geraint William has been informed and a report will be submitted to him by the police, as well as a post mortem being arranged.
