Sportshall success for Ridgeway girls

THE RIDGEWAY Middle School girls team are celebrating after finishing top of the pile in the year six sportshall athletics event.

Ridgeway finished in first place as they saw off competition from six other Redditch middle schools by excelling in sprinting, endurance running, javelin, triple jump, long jump and seated shot putt.

The girls will now go on to compete at county level against the best athletes in Worcestershire.
