THE ANNUAL running of the Terry Cup Christmas Pudding motorcycle trial organised by Redditch Motorcycle Club takes place on Sunday, December 2.

This year's event is the final round of the Midland Centre Championship and has attracted over 80 riders from all over the region.

Ben Sprigg from Rowney Green has now put all his efforts into trials after trying his hand at motocross and has been rewarded with a sponsorship deal on the MRS Sherco.

He will be going all out for a win in the Expert category but, with Bewdley's Ross Danby - third in the British Championship - in competition, it will not be easy.

Ian Cook from Crabbs Cross is once again out in the Clubman Class and is hoping for a better ride to finish off a mediocre season.

He will be pushed hard by Mark Hurlstone from Greenlands on his Gas Gas who is improving all the time.

The action starts at 9.30am from Davis' Yard in Astwood Bank, with two sections on the rubble, then it is off out to Holberrow Green and Ham Green for some serious action on the slippery muddy climbs.

By the time the riders reach Sheepwash at the back of Webheath the trial will almost be over, but for the tired riders this can mean an early bath!

Elcocks Brook is the final group of sections and Redditch MCC stalwart John Fletcher will be making certain the riders are not hanging about here, so he can get home for his cup of tea!

Spectators are all welcome and it is free to watch.
