REDDITCH'S shopping centre was looking 'reem' at the weekend as the star of a hit ITV show paid a visit.
The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Sims signed copies of her book for hundreds of fans who had waited hours in the Kingfisher Centre outside Waterstones for a chance to meet the reality TV star.
Her autobiography The Only Way Is Up tells the story of her rise to fame, which has seen her go from being a single mother struggling to make ends meet to one of Essex's most recognisable residents after being signed up for the show.
The 30-year-old told the Standard it was 'great' and 'exciting' to be in Redditch for her last book signing of the year, adding on previous visits to other towns she had been greeted with an emotional reaction by those waiting to meet her.
"People have been crying. It's weird having a book out and even weirder to have people come and want their book signed," she said.
"I got asked to do a book last year and said no but when I was asked again I thought it was a good opportunity to tell my story rather than it coming out in someone else's words."
