THIS year's Palace Panto is on course to breaking box office records with tickets selling fast.
Sleeping Beauty is currently in its second week of a four week run at the Alcester Street theatre and already more than 13,800 people have snapped up a ticket to see the show - 73 per cent of the seats available.
Most matinées are heavily booked with afternoon performances on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day all but sold out.
Palace press officer Paul Hughes said they were delighted with the response and had already started taking bookings for next year's production of Aladdin.
The show stars Maureen Nolan as the Evil Carabosse as well as Brookside's Steven Pinder as King Clarence and a host of West Ends stars.
