Man in hospital after an attack

A MAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after an attack in Greenlands.

A 24-year-old man remains in hospital after police were called to reports of an assault in Harport Road, about 10.20pm on Friday (December 7).

The road was cordoned off and police made door to door enquiries.

Dale Gardiner, from Greys Road in Studley appeared before Redditch magistrates this morning (Monday) charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 29-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear at Worcester Crown Court on December 18.
