Council bids to create apprentices

THREE apprentice positions are on offer in a bid to create more job opportunities for people in the borough.

Redditch Borough Council are currently advertising jobs as a children's care assistant with Sure Start, an apprentice electrician for the repairs and maintenance team and a landscape operative.

Each role will include five days a week paid work at £125 and one day spent at college completing the qualification.

All jobs are for a period of 12 to 18 months and the closing date for applications is December 16.
