A WOMAN is facing a ban from a supermarket after she was caught shoplifting.

The woman in her 40s attempted to steal meat and alcohol worth about £50 from Morrisons in Clearwell Road, off the Warwick Highway, today (Friday).

Five officers were called to the store around 1pm where they detained the woman in the shop.

The offence looks likely to be dealt with by using a community resolution where she will have to pay back the price of the goods and could be banned from the store.
