THIS is the man police want to trace in connection with an attack on a woman while she was walking her dog by Arrow Valley Country Park.

Police have released the e-fit in the hope of tracking the man involved in the incident about 2.30pm on October 10.

The victim, in her 40s, was on Wild Goose Lane in Matchborough when a man lunged at her from the undergrowth and grabbed her arm.

The dog bit the man on his left forearm and the woman threatened to set the animal on him, at which point he ran off.

He is described as white, aged between 25 and 30 with very short dark hair and wore a white t-shirt with jeans.

Det Con Ryan Townsend said: "It is important we trace this man. He would have gone away with a nasty injury to his arm, so someone out there must know who he is."

Anyone with information should call DC Townsend at Redditch Police Station on 101, quoting incident reference 222-N-171012, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
