KINGS NORTON Golf Club had the honour of hosting and winning the annual prestigious Bob Osborn Trophy competition - which is run by The West Midlands Junior Golf League - on October 7.

The weather held out and the sun shone on the day and, with the course in superb condition, this was reflected in some great scores throughout the event in which the Kings Norton Golf Club junior team came out on top.

The hosts, up against 24 other teams, were victorious with 128 points and claimed the Bob Osborn Trophy with 128 points thanks to the efforts of team members Lewis Savage, Callum Blake and Patrick Leydon.

Blake also carded the best nett score of the day and was presented with the inaugural Peter Skidmore Trophy for this great performance.
