Hi: 10° Lo:3° 7 day

AROUND 100 homes and businesses still have no phone service over a week after criminals attacked a cable.
The Standard reported last Friday (November 2) residents had been left without their BT phoneline and internet after offenders damaged cable on the Feckenham Road the previous Friday (October 26).
Although a spokeswoman said problems should have been sorted within the week, it has since emerged some homes still do not have service 11 days on from the incident.
In a further statement, she added: "There have some problems with residual faults which engineers are currently working through, with around 100 outstanding.
"They are looking at these one by one and expect all service to be restored by the end of tomorrow (Wednesday) although some will see their service restored today.
"We apologise for the ongoing inconvenience this is causing and will restore service as quickly as possible."
