Hi: 14° Lo:1° 7 day

A REDDITCH man has died after an incident involving a van in Bromsgrove in the early hours of Saturday morning (November 3).
It happened at around 5.15am on the A448 dual carriageway.
The 24-year-old pedestrian was found by paramedics down an embankment.
He sustained a head injury and was taken to the major trauma centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, where he later died.
Insp Tony Bush, of West Mercia Police said the man, who has not yet been named, was just past Bromsgrove Golf Club when it occurred and that there has been a suggestion he was trying to hitch a lift.
"At that time of the day there would not have been many vehicles travelling along that road, but we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him before the collision, or witnessed the collision itself," added Insp Bush.
Anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The road was closed until around 11am on Saturday morning.
There was no injury to the driver.
