A FUN-FILLED occasion is on offer this month courtesy of local football side Hizza United who have arranged an evening with Paul Merson.

The former Aston Villa and England midfielder will be joined by a comedian for the talk and Q&A session at Studley Road Social Club on Saturday, November 17 (7.30pm for 8pm start).

The cost is £25 per head and includes a meal of either fish and chips, sausage and chips or pie and chips.

The club, formerly known as Kingscote Albion, are very close to their tenth anniversary since being formed and hope to be able to donate some proceeds from this event to the British Heart Foundation, who they have supported in the past.

Tickets are available from Hizza United chairman/president Ray Griffiths by calling 01527 457666.

Hizza United have risen through the divisions in the BRT Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination League in recent times and this season sit in mid-table in the Premier Division under the leadership of manager Ben King.

Hizza United Seconds are second in Bromsgrove Sunday League Division Three and are managed by Luke Davenport.
