Hi: 16° Lo:3° 7 day

A PACKED schedule at Artrix this week sees everything from drumming to dragons on offer.
Among the offerings is the return of the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers with their contemporary sound and modern stage show.
Their 7.30pm show on Sunday (October 21) includes thundering rhythms on huge taiko drums interweaving with delicate bamboo flutes.
The following night (Monday) at 8pm, Mark Thomas presents Bravo Figaro. After walking the Wall in The West Bank, becoming the Guinness World Record Holder for political protests and chasing arms dealers round the country, Mark is now turning his attention to matters closer to home with a show about his father.
Jurassic Bark is the show of choice on Tuesday (October 23) as Piff The Magic Dragon, accompanied by Mr Piffles the world’s first million dollar chihuahua, visits the venue as part of his first major UK tour.
Tickets to all shows and more information about other shows are available at www.artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.
