BOSSES at the new Tesco Express in Hollywood received 733 applications for 15 new posts.
The jobs were advertised online and at the local JobCentre Plus.
Store manager Ray Sparrow said he was thrilled with the response, which equated to more than 48 applicants for each vancancy.
"In this time of economic uncertainty, it is great we are able to create jobs for our local community and help get people back into work.
“I am really pleased with my new team and I’m looking forward to working with them."
