A BODY was found this morning (Wednesday) in Foxlydiate Woods.
Police confirmed they had discovered the body at 7.45am off Brockhill Drive.
A spokesman said: "The site has been cordoned off and the man was confirmed dead by paramedics.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and there are no suspicious circumstances at this time.
"No one else is being sought in connection with the incident."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were called to the woods shortly before 9.05am.
"Crews arrived to find a man who had been discovered by the police.
"Unfortunately nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene."
Worcestershire coroner Geraint Williams has been informed and a post mortem will be arranged, following which an inquest will be opened.
