Hi: 18° Lo:10° 7 day

EIGHTIES fever will be sweeping through the Palace Theatre this October.
Europe’s Official 1980s Reunion Tribute Concert, 80s Mania, will be taking music fans by storm on October 18, with over 35 smash hits from Duran Duran, The Human League, Wham and more.
The recreated live concert will dazzle with more than 150 costumes, a fantastic dance troupe and eye-popping laser and light show.
The show has also snapped up legendary Top of the Pops and Radio 1 presenter and DJ, Mike Read, as the official compere.
Although due to work commitments, he cannot make every show, two giant projector screens will showcase him transforming into the late Sir Jimmy Savile and Sir Bob Geldof .
And as a final extra, Mike will also DJ and voice the pre-show, interval and after show, to keep everyone in the party mood.
Audiences are invited to grab their leg warmers, shoulder pads and neon, and take a trip back to the ‘80s by singing and
dancing to their favourite tunes.
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £19.50 (£18.50 concessions or £14.50 Reddicard holders and students).
