Black Horse hit Bartley Green for six

CLASS finishing in the BRT Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination Premier Division game of the day saw Black Horse defeat rivals Bartley Green Sunday 6-0.

The visitors started brightly and created the best early chances, but a stunning 30-yard free kick from Darren Bullock and a missed penalty at the other end turned the match on its head.

Joe Adams then took centre stage with four quality finishes and a late Andy Grubb strike rubbed salt into the visitors' wounds.

Fellow high-flyers Church Hill bounced back from the previous weekend's cup loss to win 10-2 at Rubery Bridge as Josh Gifford helped himself to four goals, whilst Danny Pilgrim's brace led Austin Ex-Apprentices to a 2-1 success at Athletico.

Matthew Biddle's two goals saw Webheath see off visitors Hizza United 2-0 and strikes from Barnett (2) and Slevin guided Bromsgrove General La Coruna to a 3-0 victory at Wychbold RBL.

In Division One, three wonder strikes from Dave Phelan set JMC United on their way to a 6-1 win over visitors Dog & Pheasant.

A hat-trick from Studley Leisure's Sullivan failed to make the difference as Translift Bendi beat their hosts 6-3 thanks largely to Johnson's treble, whilst CBH Fasteners beat visitors Thomas Brothers 2-0 to go second in the table.

FC Club kept up their recent free-scoring form with a 5-2 win at South Redditch.

The Division Two formbook was turned on its head as bottom club Mayfly won 2-1 at home to leaders Washford Lions and Woodland took full advantage and went back to the top courtesy of a 9-0 win at Merchants, thanks in no small part to Surman's hat-trick.

Another Danny Styles hat-trick sent Bell Studley back to the top of Division Three as they won 6-1 at Washford Lions Reserves.

Peter Simpson XI also turned the formbook upside down by winning 3-0 at Wythall Wanderers and Sill's goal led Sporting Club Redditch to a 1-0 home triumph over Kingfisher Angling.

Hosts Shakespeare drew 3-3 with Winyates Wanderers.
