A DOG walker has reported a potential sighting of a Redditch teenager who went missing from his care home.

Craig Greener, was last seen by staff at the care home on Birmingham Road in Kidderminster, during the early hours of September 11, before he went missing with fellow resident, 13-year-old, Charlotte Evans.

But now a Kidderminster dog walker has reported seeing the pair on Sunday (September 16) near allotments by the White Wickets recreational ground off Franche Road.

The 14-year-old is believed to be wearing a green t-shirt and black jogging bottoms and Charlotte, who is white, with red hair, wore a pink hoody and grey jogging bottoms when she left the care home.

The teenagers, who have gone missing together before and were previously found in the Droitwich area, where Charlotte is originally from, are not believed to have had any food or money on them and are living rough.

Insp Adrian Maiden, of West Mercia Police, said: "Our officers are continuing to search in that area as a result of this potential sighting and as we think they are living rough we would ask anyone who sees two teenagers matching their descriptions on open ground or off the beaten track to get in touch with us immediately.

"They have been missing together before but it is nearly a week now since they left the care home and we are becoming increasingly worried about their welfare.

"No effort is being spared in our efforts to find them and we really need to establish that they are safe. If anyone knows where they are now or thinks they have seen them please get in touch with us."

Anyone with any information about Charlotte and Craig's whereabouts should call police on the non-emergency 101 number.
