A 100 per cent record had to go in the BRT Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination Premier Division's clash of the day and it was Bartley Green Sunday's which did as they were beaten 2-0 by Church Hill.

Gifford's strike and an own goal won the day for Church Hill, who sit second despite their perfect start to the season as Black Horse maintained top spot with their fourth win from as many matches as they won 3-0 at Austin Ex-Apprentices through goals from Hicks, Grubb and Hall.

In Division One, Redditch Cricket Club continue to sweep all before them as a 5-3 win over Dog & Pheasant made it 12 points from 12 for them, whilst Steve Bennett's hat-trick helped The Fleece to a 7-0 away win at South Redditch.

The only game in Division Two saw Royal Oak Studley take full advantage and go top of the league with a 2-1 win over Beoley Village.

In Division Three, Shakespeare won their second game in a row with a 5-1 success over Dagnell End Rovers and Kingfisher Angling posted their first win of the season as they defeated Washford Lions Reserves.

There were plenty of giant-killing acts and shock results in the early rounds of the cups, with Millfield Rovers beating the all-conquering Woodland 2-1 and second bottom of Division Two Kingswood Town knocking out previously unbeaten and high-scoring Bell Studley 2-1.

Dean Nolan's hat-trick helped JMC United to a 10-1 win over Translift Bendi and Peter Simpson XI celebrated their first ever win as goals from Shemmon and Phelan sunk previously unbeaten Woodrow 2-1.
