Hi: 15° Lo:4° 7 day

A CHARITY ice hockey game will be held in honour of a Redditch couple who have dedicated their lives to coaching children.
The match, played at Solihull Ice Rink, will pay tribute to John and Barbara Williams, who founded the Junior Ice Hockey Club more than 30 years ago.
Coaching hundreds of children, the couple started up an international tournament so young players could compete against some of the best teams around the world.
And now past players want to say thank you for the support and fond memories.
Due to the fact Mrs Williams suffers from emphysema and many of the player have asthma, all proceeds will go to The British Lung Foundation.
The event starts at 6.30pm on Sunday (August 26), showcasing an under 10s game before the main match.
Entrance fees are £5.00 per adult and £2.00 for children under 10 years of age.
