Hi: 8° Lo:2° 7 day

A BAND hailing from Catshill will be returning to their roots to play a gig in Bromsgrove.
Virgil and the Accelerators are starting the music for Artrix's autumn season at 8pm on Saturday, September 8, having toured extensively across Belgium, Germany and the UK with bands such as Uriah Heep, Wilko Johnson and Blackfoot.
The dancefloor in the auditorium will be down for the show which is sure to delight audiences thanks to the band's reputation for jaw-dropping live performances.
Their debut album The Radium has received five-star reviews and was placed second in the top 20 albums of 2011 by US magazine Blues Rock Review. They have also received nominations for Best Young Artist and Best Album in this year's British
Blues Awards and will be joined on stage by support band Albany Down.
Visit www.artrix.co.uk or call the box office 01527 577330 for tickets costing £12 (£10). Log on to www.vataband.com or www.albanydown.com for information about either of the bands.
