GREEN-FINGERED residents have the chance to brighten up their district centre at a fun day this Friday (August 24).
Plant a Planter with Pete Burton is just one of the activities available at Woodrow Fun Day, which runs from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
Also on offer are face painting, arts and crafts, Redditch Young Firefighters, the County Mobile Museum and a tombola.
Support has been received through the divisional funds of county councillors Jane Potter and Brandon Clayton and Coun Rob Adams, chair of Worcestershire County Council, and Redditch mayor Alan Mason will be making an appearance on the day at Woodrow Centre.
Coun Clayton said: "All are welcome to join us on Friday, we look forward to seeing all the budding horticulturists."
