Hi: 15° Lo:5° 7 day

BANDS, children's entertainment and a balloon launch will all be on offer at Arrow Valley Visitor Centre this weekend.
From 10am tomorrow (Saturday), residents can enjoy stalls, a tombola, Dave's Roadshow and a Mini Miss Bloom competition at the Child Alerts UK fund-raiser.
The event will then re-open at 6pm when four bands including headliners New Killer Shoes, a soul singer and a comedian will take to the stage from 7pm.
All money raised will go towards the £5,000 needed to give Child Alerts UK, an organisation which uses social media to help find missing children, official charity status.
Entrance during the day is free but admission for the evening event costs £5 in advance from www.childalerts.org.uk or from the centre or £7 on the door.
